Facebook Messenger will now have only 3 tabs instead of 9!

In a recent reporting, Facebook announced that they will be redesigning the messenger app completely going back to its roots!

“We build one feature after another; they’re piling up,” said Messenger chief Stan Chudnovsky on Tuesday about an app which has grown from a simple messaging app to one that lets users make video calls, send money and more.

The 3 tabs in this new update will be titled as “chats”, “People” and Discovery”
“Chats” tab will have all the conversations, “people” tab will include stories and contacts whereas the “Discovery” tab will be all about games and exchanges with businesses.

One of the reasons behind Facebook’s this step is positioning Messenger as a tool for businesses to efficiently handle customer questions or concerns.

Will facebooks this step help in engaging more people through messenger ads and will it really justify the ease of use tag will be the keynote to watch out for!
